I love the way her hair is actually feathers, and they shroud her face and just brush against her lips. I always admire the way you define lips in your photography. The softness of the feathers contrasts really well with the fierce strength of her expression.
Her eyes are absolutely gorgeous. The way they stare at you, through you, and their clear, neat, bright colour. They contrast wonderfully with the dominant red of the portrait, and the gentle underline of red beneath her eyes draws out the blue even more prominently.
The cropping of the photo works really well - we can see the perfect amount of face without it seeming crowded or her face seeming swamped.
A lovely photo! Once again, I love how much thought goes into all of your photos.
The color contrast between white and red is gorgeous. Also the red becomes almost black to the outside of the image and the white in its midst is very bright.Tthis gives an air of mystery to the entire image. The eyes, in return, are the color stain that unbalances the red and white and also radically changes the image effect. The green eyes are very bright and clear and again give a touch of mystery to the picture. I think the most important detail are the lips, reminding me of a Gheisa with the small detail on the lower lip. And the red feathers are the last touch for a complete and beautiful work.
