I love this shot, its really nice, i love the eyes and the concept of mimicking the snake tongue with her own.
I have not written a critique before and who am i really to judge, my work is not this good.. however i do have an Arts degree and so i hope that's ok for you.
ill start with the cons so that its a sweeter ending,
Cons: most of the frame is taken with the shoulder, half of this i think would have been enough, its a big block of bland image that can deviate from the rest of the image.
i`m note sure if its Photoshop work or make-up but something about the nose and the bridge of the nose look off, almost placed on the image but this could just be me.
i think this would have looked much better in a Medium Format shape rather than 35mm (or 7x5 as it is)
Pros: its a wonderful use of colour and shadow, i love the red lip line into the cheek, eyes are star filled and i love them. Great set-up of symmetry making her look like the snake, scales, eye shape and colour. good pose.
i think its really good and i hope to see more like it soon.

I must admit that all your work is pretty impressive, but when I saw this I was amazed.
The colors are setted in a great symphony.
The editing work you have done here is perfect. Eyes, Lips, skin. My only objection is to the scales. I'd have expected something more realistic for the deviation to be fully perfect, they look as plain shadows.
The make up has definitely got me, specially the lines of the mouth, very snaky-like.
And wait... You got a snake too! I wouldn't dare, so that adds points too !
Since this is a self-portrait, the amount of work implied here is astonishing.
However, I'd have like to see more hair in the picture (like the medusa maybe?).
Amazing as always. I love your work.

I love this protrait. The look in your eyes is awesome. Do you use any effects to make them 'glow' like this?

This is great! I love the moody atmosphere of the piece, and the makeup perfectly compliments the animal incorporated. For some reason I've always liked snakes and this is ssssstunning! ;)

Are the scales and lips post effect or painted on?
