grapefruit! :la: I'm actually not very fond of this fruit, too bitter for my taste. Bit it's still very pretty, so :3
Funny thing is that I ended up eating it even if I hate it. I always do so with all the fruit I take a picture with. It's automatic, I don't know. Don't ask. lol

pomelo means grapefruit (in spanish)

self-portrait

Love the texture of the grapefruit with your freckles. I always love it when you use contrasting colours to really make it pop. It's amazing. Your freckles add a lot of depth to your face which is why I like it when you keep them uncovered by makeup. it makes it more interesting. However, it almost seems like the fade effect is a little bit messy, just slightly making the edge of the grapefruit a little bit fuzzy. Still absolutely beautiful. I love how strong the white of the skin of the grapefruit is against the pink. It is very sharp looking. All of the colour is very eye catching. I look forward to seeing more of your work!

there were several moments when I stopped to admire your work and I think I owe you my opinion !

Maybe there is a whole story to talk about your work but I'm not going into much detail.

First of all the picture has an incredible impact and the association between the model and the fruit is very well thought out ! The colour combination is very well/right chosen and it represent one of the keys to your goal in this work. By watching the whole Tutti Frutti series I can tell you that I find amazing the way you associate the expressiveness of the model with every fruit, the taste is loomed by her look, her attitude and completed by the colour combination. In my opinion this would be another important key.

Secondly the focal length you used has also an incredible important role (is also a leading part) in expressiveness of the picture because of the distortions which emphasise the attitude of the model. I find this as another artistic way to improve the authenticity of the subject.

Last but not least I like the format of the picture (aspect ratio), the fact that it is almost a square because I think it confers the right balance.

However as a complement to your work I suggest to use a smaller aperture because I think that there are areas where you could get more clarity, to be more concrete I refer to the fruit and the skin, parts of the face.

Anyway as a conclusion I think that you have an artwork here and also you found an original way to express the subject.

I suggest to all the visitors to watch the entire Tutti Frutti series because it worth !

I agree pomelo (grapefruit?) is too bitter. But the colours are great! This Tutti Frutti series is all of self portraits? Your use of colours are wonderful!

It sort of looks ridiculous. Her lips and the blue don't look good.

I understand the color themes in the other pictures but not this one. Why blue?

Grapefruits are not grapes so why they called "grape" fruit. Good job.

Would be nice if you could explain your reasoning behind using blue in contrast to another color for the eye shadow. Without that, it seems like it's different just to be different which may have undone a lot of hard work and conceptual thinking you had applied to this.

Try grapefruit juice (bitter) with cranberry juice (bitter too), and they somehow become sweet. Try it!

This is a very pretty picture but I have to say it's not my favorite, it seems a bit bland in comparison to your other pictures. The expression is good but I think you could've done a bit more with it. The color contrast is probably my favorite part of this picture.

I LOVE love love this! That blue against the red of the grapefruit is amazing! At first I thought that was a blood orange, I've never seen a grapefruit for red. Here in Florida they are more pink.

Fabulous job!!

Me encanta el maquillaje, está genial. Pero no me explico cómo puedes tener tantos colores O_O, ¿Son sombras de ojos?

(Yo siempre me imaginé los pomelos más anaranjados, pero creo que depende del tipo) XD

This is quite gorgeous! You don't often use blues, and that's totally fine, but wow does the colour look amazing with your skin and the contrast of the bright fruit. I love that you can still see your freckles, and that the focus of your eyes goes right through the camera. Beautiful & fun picture.

Oh my! I love the colors, the contrast, the sharpness of the image, and you have a very subtle rule of threes going as the first thing that catches my eye is the pomelo, and then her lips and then her eyes, which draws me through the picture. Excellent job!!! ^_^
