First of all, I love two things about this picture: the wonderful window created by the slanted parallel lines of the cantaloupe and the overall color scheme of the picture. I have admired you fruit series since it was created, and this one fits in perfectly. It's vibrant and lively without having the vibrant colors necessarily. I love the detailing of the seeds, and that you chose to bring that element of the fruit onto you. I also quite enjoy your expression I love practically everything about this picture except one thing-- the photoshop job. The photoshoping around your eye is definitely noticeable, and I think it detracts from the overall picture, instead of accentuating it like you probably intended. It is too harsh, and looks fake, which, of course it is. Also, I'm not sure if it was a mistake or not, but you can see square repeated photoshopping in the bottom right corner of the picture which also detracts from it overall. So to sum it up, you and the picture are perfect and darling, but the processing after is slightly too harsh.
To offer up a little bit of help with photoshop, there's a wonderful technique called dodge and burn, and here is great tutorial for it: [link] You might find it fun to try out.
I would just make the lips a nude color because it strains the eye looking at the the mouth and the eye since they both have the brightest colors, but other than that I love the picture. I would also sharpen the outline of the seeds. The eye liner looked to dark, since the rest of the colors are so calm. I think the picture would look better if the eye was either brown or a lighter blue, and brown eyelashes. The cheeks might look nice with a bit of an orange blush. These are all very small suggestions but I think they could make a bid difference.
