This art piece has something, a feeling from the past. The doll represents for me here on the piece a reflection of a begin. The girl more a deep dept of past with some of pain and some not. Overal the girl has beautifull eyes, i love those eyes.
The camera colours are cool too! Well done.
Even objects can bring life back if its also Important for the one.
You should make write a poem about on it!
I don't have much to say. Maybe you should do a theme collection about dolls!! Dolls are cool to photograph
this makes me think of the story of solomon and the two mothers who each said the baby was theirs. we all think of the coldness of the non-mother in that story, i think, but what about her pain of losing her baby in the first place? stunning job on this.
Very interesting work! I like a previous comment's idea of "letting go" of innocence. My mind kind of took a darker route. The bare, blue-eyed doll being held so tenderly like an actual child and the--I think--pained facial expression makes me think of a loss of a different kind. A mother miscarrying, losing a very young child, or finding she's unable to have children. Maybe even a person that was supposed to be a twin, but their twin passed away as a baby. "Letting go" and coming to grips with matters and moving on. Both have blue eyes, making me think of a mother-child or sister-sibling relationship. I like the positioning of the hands.
This is a very beautiful photograph! When comparing the title that you gave to the concept of the picture, I think of a "letting go" (of innocence) theme, which is supported by the childlike doll. The expression you have is haunting as well, nicely done.
Beautiful pose, facial expression, and colours! If anything, I am not quite sure where to look, which makes it a little overwhelming, as there is nothing for the line to really follow, but other than that - lovely!
