This is an incredibly striking image. First of all, the model has a wonderful natural beauty and amazing eyes.

The way the photographer lit the scene is nothing short of magical. The skin has that nice soft glow and is completely absent of any hint of shine or glare from the lights that are making the eyes sparkle... Exceptional!

There is just the right amount of contrast between the background and the subject. The deep black in the negative space is almost as powerful as the model's beauty. The subtly powerful lighting builds upward across the face highlighting first the lips and becoming it's most intense at the eyes.

The composition is probably my favorite aspect of this photograph. The hair stands from the left of the image pull the viewer eyes to the model's lips. While any viewer would be happy to linger there... and that alone would make this a great image. The eye is drawn in a counter clockwise motion and pulled back into the center of the image by the motion of the freckles dancing across the model's cheeks. This brings the viewer to those eyes... Wow!

It is impossible to escape the circle of composition - a perfect, never-ending, counterclockwise circle of beauty.

AMAZING!
